Second Try

Picture (s) From the College Campus Tour

Donna and family have returned home and I'm trying to do thos blog by myself. We'll see....

Max, Logan, and Riley (staying here for a coule of days) went to Seven Peaks yesterday and Joseph was allowedby his dad, to go along. He was five minutes late getting home though so I hope that doesn't ruin his chances of coming here again....he left today for a ward camp out.

The other boys are at the mall. I'm going to try and load a couple of pixes of our Campus tour.

CRAZY???? ABOUT BOOKS????

I know that all of you

are crazy about books.

Me too. But...I wish

I was a super fast

fast reader so that I

could even read more!

A woman in my book

club told me that I had

weird tastes in books.

Maybe she's right. Look

at some of these titles I've

read lately: Diary of a

Mad Man; Hard Times;

Diary of a Mad Man;

Quiet Flow the Don;

The Red and the Black; Eugene Onegin; Glass Castle; Vinegar Hill; Winter of our Discontent;Angle of Repose; Moll Flanders; Grayson; The Assistant; and STILL working on Gene Christophe -- the most frustrating and l o n g e s t book I've ever tried to read!

BOOKS FOR ORPHANS

Today three ladies and I put together ten picture books (pictures cut from magazines) for little kids in orphanages. Twenty-four pages in each book: birds, fish, jungle animals, farm animals, modes of transportation, food, flowers, kids, kids, kids, seasons, music and dance, reptiles, insects and etc. It has taken us a long time to compile 240 pages but we finally did it and today we put them together. It was supposed to be a RS work activity but only three showed up! Ah, the blessings they missed!
