Tripping Off To Tucson

February found Don and I off to Tucson via Blanding. We stopped there to (a) check on the house (took us half an hour to get into it because the renter had left four feet of snow on the driveway and grass) (b) keep an appointment with the income tax man and hand him our completed tax information (Don couldn't find the bag he put it in so we had to cancel that appointment till March 20th and (c) have a game of hand and foot with Joe and Marilyn (we did and the guys won - bummer.)
On to Pheonix where we stayed overnight with Bob and Nancy (great visit) and then on to Tucson for five nights with Angie and Richie (by four days we smelled like fish and they were happy to see us go!) Richie gave the best Gospel Doctrine lesson I've EVER heard. Great teacher. Angie cooked the best pork roast I ever ate (get her receipe). We saw Kartchner Caves (pretty awesome) and had the best 'eat-out' dinner ever at the Texas Steak House. Angie knew how to make a reservation there and we walked in with 150 people waiting and zipped right past them. She's awesome.
While at their house I made four necklaces that are gorgeous and we visited old town Tucson where poor Great Grandfather Hunt's fingers were covered with red and orange condums. The art gallery and down town Tucson are wonderful! So is the Mexican food.
