Opportunities
I feel like I have passed up many opportunities that would have benefited me. I wish I'd taken hold of them and met their challenges. Who knows--they undoubtedly would have yielded many gifts-- more empathy, more knowledge, more confidence in myself, etc. Perhaps even greater joy in life.

Amen, mom1 I, too, have passed up so many opportunities and have regretted it. I still do it, but much less often. Never pass up opportunities to be with people, celebrate an occasion, see a sunset, call a friend, accept an invitation.
